PMFHousing believes that building means responsibility – for the people who live in its buildings, and for the resources it uses. PMFHousing stands for reliable solutions that enable municipalities, project managers and private clients to deliver their projects sustainably and economically.
From vision to sustainable building
The story of PMFHousing began in 1999, when founder Andreas Mohr was moved by a radio report about earthquake victims. A vision was born:
"I want to develop houses that are fast, stable, and buildable in any region of the world."
No sooner said than done: from this idea, PMFHousing GmbH was founded in 2017 – marking the start of a technology that today enables modular buildings, vertical extensions, facade renovations and custom building projects.
- 2017 – Founding: Andreas Mohr founded PMFHousing. The same year, the first development work with RWTH Aachen began.
- 2020 – First show home: PMFHousing built its first show home on the RWTH Aachen campus.
- 2022 – Sales launch: The launch of sales and further projects for sustainable building.
- 2024 – New leadership: In March 2024, Oliver Oechsle took over as Managing Director of PMFHousing. Andreas Mohr has since led technology development as Head of Technology.
- 2025 – Focus on modular construction: Today PMFHousing focuses on modular residential and commercial buildings, vertical extensions, facade renovations and custom building projects.
